A work log that fills itself from what you shipped.
The Work page answers one question: what did I ship? Each day it counts the tasks you closed, the Linear issues you completed, and the content you drafted and published, then lets an AI write a short summary you can edit. Over time it becomes a year-long heatmap and a set of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports you can use for standups, reviews, and client updates.
What you get
Auto-filled daily metrics
Tasks done, Linear issues completed, content drafted, and content published are counted from your real activity, with a button to rebuild them on demand.
AI-written summary, yours to edit
A two-sentence recap of the day is generated automatically. If you write your own, it is never overwritten.
Twelve-month activity heatmap
A GitHub-style heatmap shows how intense each day was, built from tasks, Linear closures, and published content.
Weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
Switch between the last 7, 30, and 90 days to see totals for tasks, Linear, drafted, and published, with an AI recap for the longer ranges.
Missed-day backfill
A prompt lists recent days without a log so you can fill the gaps in a click.
Timezone aware
Days are cut using your own timezone, so late-night work lands on the right date.
Frequently asked questions
How is the work log different from the hours tracker?
The work log records what you shipped, counted automatically from tasks, Linear, and content. The hours tracker records how long you worked, entered manually. They sit side by side and serve different reports.
Does the AI summary overwrite what I write?
No. If a day already has a summary you wrote, the automatic job skips it. Without an OpenAI key the log falls back to a plain template summary.
Can I use it for standups or client updates?
Yes. The weekly and monthly views give you counts and written recaps you can paste into a standup or share through a read-only viewer code.
